22. First light effort in Steel Tiger NE of 72 - 2 Marine pilots picked up returned to Ch 89 by Maj Jones/Capt McCullough - first pickup for McCullough. Made pick up with only 1 tip jettisoned also had hoist malfunction. 1 man had no radio - used flares. No north birds due to maint.
