1. During an engine run, Lt Mastasi experienced and APP fire which occured after shutdown. Some damage resulted to the cowling. It was determined that the APP handle was placed in the run position prior to complete rundown of the APP, thus fuel was introduced into the still hot chamber resulting in a fire. The APP handle was put into the run position in order to cock the A/C for further maint. Runs. Stan/Eval says No! No!
15. Flare case on 358 inadvertantly jettissonned on climbout from NKP AP. Investigation revealed that cause was indetermineable. No damage to aircraft or where case impacted terra firma. AC was Lt McCormick and the incident was reported by the SOF, Capt. Feindeiss.
21. Medivac Mission. Blacklund AC, Shelton CP
Medivaced a sergeant with suspected enternal injuries to Udorn. No save credited.
