How would/did our adversaries react to shootdowns of CAF Aircrew in your AOR
Ÿ Per doctrine what assets do/did they have to deploy?
Ÿ Does/did the adversary follow doctrine? How close to doctrine
Ÿ Does/did their doctrine vary with operations tempo or other major ongoing activities?
Ÿ What tactics do/did they have to counter CSAR efforts? Provide examples and references that may validate this assessment.
Ÿ If the adversary did deploy assets
â What priority would/did they give it in depending on operations tempo? If different please give rationale
â How fast would/did they react? Are there rules of thumb for calculating speed as a function of terrain, proximity to troop centers, other factors?
â Would/did they employ dedicated forces to foil rescue?
â Would/did they employ Air assets to support anti-CSAR missions? In what role?
â What type of MIJI would/did they employ (243 beacons, linguists, scanners, etc)
â How would/did they set-up forces (geometry) to counter CSAR?
â What is/was their shot doctrine (capture, kill first target, kill HAVA target, SAR TRAP)?
