I am working on new leads to investigate for the loss of RIDGE, an RF-4C lost on 12 December 1968, 30 miles northwest of Tchephone, and would like to talk to some of the partipants in the incident. SAR forces rescued the front seater, but there was never any contact with the backseater and we carry him as a Last Known Alive case. Major Claude R. Shrum, SANDY 01, was the OSC for the SAR effort. The survivor was rescued by JOLLY GREEN 15, whose PJ went down and put the injured pilot on the penetrator.
