TSgt Wayne Jones died in a parachute accident on

Chuck Salome, a Vietnam PJ, died in an accident at his
home on 5 September 1998.
Two HH-60G Pave Hawk Rescue helicopters from the
66th RQS, Nellis AFB, crashed on the night of 3 September. There were twelve souls
on board the two helicopters. There were no survivors.

A Rescue Memorial Fund has been set up to help defray the
cost of transportation for the families of these crews. Contributations can be made

SrA Sean McDermott, a Pararescueman (PJ) died during a
HALO parachute accident on August 13th, 1998.
CMSGT Chuck Walther passed away in
September.
