From right to left: Capt. Sanderson, Capt. Bell, Sgt Gargano, Sgt. Jaack
Hartman, A PJ (unknown name) and a photog (unknown name).
Capt. Holly Bell was the pilot of JG 71 when it was shot down by a Mig
in Jan 1970.

The picture is after a successful pickup. The survivor is zipping his
pocket (to
the left of Bell. Captain Horn is next going to the right and Sgt Hartman is to
the right of Horn. Hartman was the FE. Kneeling down in fron right to left are
the PJ's Tony McFarr and Sgt Lester. I don't know when this pickup was made but
the survivors name appears to be George Zesinger

Jim looking back while sitting on the jump seat. It was
nighttime and the photog said "Hey JC" and when I
turned around he snapped the picture (using a
flash). The pilot, copilot and myself were all blind for a
couple minutes. Made for an interesting few minutes |
